My journey began in 2005 when I studied at the Australian College of Natural Medicine and Beauty in Brisbane. After working in both laser and advanced skin clinics, I realised beauty needed to be more holistic, more gentle, and more supportive of long-term skin health. A friend introduced me to a more natural, skin-respecting approach, which completely opened my eyes.

When I became pregnant with my daughter, that desire for cleaner, safer, more meaningful beauty became even stronger.

​

Four years ago, I started Alma from home, simply wanting more balance as a mum while still doing what I loved. I never imagined it would grow into what it is today, but with the encouragement of my beautiful clients, Alma slowly began to take shape.

​

When we moved to the Gold Coast in 2018, I was completely new. I had no network, no connections, just passion, purpose, and a dream to create a calming, genuine space where people could feel cared for.

​

In my 19 years in the industry, I’ve cared for all kinds of people, and what matters most is making everyone feel welcome, seen, and supported.

​

And in case you missed it, Alma means “soul” in Portuguese.
The name reflects exactly the kind of experience I wanted to create, a place that nurtures not just your skin, but your whole being.

​

In Portuguese, we say “minha casa é tua casa”, meaning my home is your home.

And that is exactly how I want Alma to feel for you.

​

Today, Alma is a warm, grounding sanctuary where clean beauty meets real clinical results, always blended with relaxation and genuine care, just honest support and a beautiful space to unwind.

 

And let’s be honest, we all want results, but we also want to be pampered, and here you get both.

 

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey is the people.
Clients walk in as strangers and over time leave as friends, which means the world to me and my team.
